薄いものをめくる音。

「ぺらぺら」は薄いことを表すときにも使われる。

"ぺらぺら" is also used to describe thinness.

意思が薄く秘密にしておかなければいけないことを簡単に話してしまうときにも使われる。（意思をしっかり持っていない人間、何も考えていない人間のことを、「薄い」とか「浅い」と日本語では言う）

It is also used when one speaks easily about something that must be kept secret with little intention. (The Japanese word "thin" or "shallow" is used to describe a person who does not have a firm intention or who does not think.)

私はまだ厚いものを表す音を見つけていない。

厚いものは大抵重いものを表すオノマトペなどで表現されることが多い気がする。

I have yet to find a sound that describes something thick.

I think that thick things are usually expressed by onomatopoeia or other words that describe heavy things.
